We offer 3 powerful services to help students fulfill their potential:

1) Telos Online Reading Program

This 12-week online reading program, designed for students in grades 3-12, is completed at home.  (Yay! This means you don’t have to be a reading specialist for your kids during COVID-19!) This reading program is available online 24 hours-a-day and available to be used when and as frequently as your child needs to improve his or her reading level by at least one grade level.  

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Students take an online diagnostic assessment to start this program that places them at their reading level, and then allows students to choose from thousands of reading selections, both fiction and nonfiction, slightly above their reading level to help to improve their comprehension and speed. As their comprehension and speed increases, so does their reading level. This program does the work of a reading specialist by scaffolding instruction automatically, and it also provides an online reading coach to monitor growth and provide weekly feedback, encouragement, and awards to keep your child motivated!  

• a 12-week seat in our online reading program can be used at home as many times as you'd like (30 hours of lessons is necessary to improve reading level. 30 minutes of reading a day is recommended.)

• This at-home reading program will be monitored by a Telos reading coach. Weekly coaching, feedback, encouragement, and instructional materials will be provided to parents and students via email to keep growth on track, as well as a list of high interest novels at their reading level.

• a fun and engaging tracking and rewards program is built in to show students their own personal gains and to provide them with awards when they reach growth milestones.

2) Telos SAT & College Prep Course

Our 6-week online SAT & College Prep Program, led by our expert instructor, is available to 11th and 12th grade students looking to take this important entrance exam as part of their preparation for college.

This package includes (6) 1.5 hour sessions that are held online via Zoom on Sunday evenings from 6:30-8 p.m. leading up to the exam date.

This program includes instruction and practice for the SAT through the CollegeBoard SAT Prep Workbook, as well as weekly emailed materials and 40-day practice plan that target each student’s specific needs as identified from session work and from previous PSAT/SAT scores to maximize point increase. This program also includes a career interest inventory & personality profile to help students identify potential majors to explore in college, as well as an online college-prep tool to help them know to which schools they may want to apply. In addition, we provide students with goal sheets, a timeline, and handouts with important deadlines and procedures to help them navigate this complex process with ease and clarity.

3) Telos Academic Coaching Program

Skills that we work on in these sessions are based on personal assessments and may include help with the following:
